This is the first range I have ever been to. Went by myself to shoot at my very first target outside of popping a shot or two in air at the clouds in the 90’s.
The staff is super professional, helpful, informative, knowledgeable, and considerate! I feel comfortable there. I bought my first rifle there. I would love to go there everyday to continue zeroing my optics and getting more proficient, but of course that takes more and more money lol.
The range is clean! There are 16 lanes. There are events that happen from time to time where you can talk to folks from different companies like Daniel Defense for instance, and enter raffles to win items like a pistol, optics, discounts, etc.
Finally got to go with my wife for some good fun. I truly enjoy visiting this range, you will too!
Took a group of six people and can’t say enough great things about this place. Dylan and Dylan 2 were wonderful. Our group had a range of experience and they took their time to educate us about the different guns and are incredibly knowledgeable about every gun in the store. If you are a beginner or have been shorting for a while, the Dylan’s will take care of you.
They have a pretty good selection and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shooting lanes are clean with plenty of room. My only ding would be the gun prices. You're definitely paying the "Johns Creek Tax" here, so a 30 minute drive might save you a couple hundred dollars.
Staff is friendly but the shooting range needs some updating. The entire ceiling in my lane was vibrating when someone shot a gun. It was my first time here and it wasn’t a pleasant shooting experience. There are better options out there like Bulls Eye or GA gun club.
I had the Basic training last weekend with instructors Dejon Brumfield and Roy Wu. Both of them showed an incredibly knowledge and their support was phenomenal! There's no enough word to show my appreciation to both!
The range structure is wonderful and the training subjects are fantastic. You will get support on every single step of your learning experience.
Highly recommended review is not enough for these guys! They go above and beyond ! Thanks to both Dejon and Roy!
I started going to this gun range ten years ago. The ownership changed hands several times over the last few years. You can tell each owner brought in different touches. Today, I was surprised for the first time, twice. One of my friends had an AR15 that can't cycle. I asked him to meet me at the range. It turned out that I could not mortar clear the firearm. He left it to me and left the range in <5 minutes without shooting a single bullet. Guess what, the staff insisted that I had to pay for him. Another surprise came when I got charged $6 for "shooting above the line." The store pasted a letter paper on the target hanger with a line saying any hole above the line would be charged $1 each. I was trying to zero one of my PCCs at 25 yards. I had to clip the target on the target hanger. The top of the target covers that “line.” My MPX left a few holes above the line before I could regain its zero. When I checked out, the new faces at the counter insisted that I also pay for those holes. I know many gun ranges do this trick to ensure their customers don't go wild and damage their facilities. Over the last 10+ years, no gun ranges ever charged me when I occasionally hit "above the line." Seriously, at 25 yards, end of the lane, what damages could be done besides a few holes on the target hanger and that letter-size paper? My friends and I bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment from JC Indoor Range over the last couple of years. I will make sure we go to another store going forward. Good luck.
This was my second time at a range and the first time was over 6 years ago so I was so scared. Our instructor Bobby was everything and so patient with me. He gave easy instructions and did not leave until I felt comfortable. My friend goes all the time and she just needed a refreshment on what to do. We need more people like Bobby when learning something new, he don’t know he made my day because I was kind of embarrassed but he made me like I had this. He told me how to aim and how to hold the gun. Bobby thank you for your kindness, easy to understand, very knowledgeable, great personality and confidence booster I really appreciate you
Have been shooting at this range over the last couple of years & have always had a good experience. 16 lanes & very adequate ventilation even on the hottest GA days outside. The staff is very friendly & attentive to customers' needs & requests. They are also very knowledgeable. I was recently in there to try to solve a sighting issue. Andrew noticed the way I was gripping the pistol & gave me a couple of tips for improving my groups. I was back the next day...Instant improvement in the results. Thank you Andrew!
